Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms govern your use of the K-Type app ("Service") and define the rights and obligations of both parties.

2. Service Description

  1. The Service is a Korean vocabulary learning app that requires no account creation.
  2. Study progress and saved word lists are stored locally on your device only.
  3. Ads are served via Google AdMob. You may permanently remove ads via an in-app purchase.
  4. The Remove Ads purchase is a non-consumable item and can be restored after reinstall using the same store account.

3. User Obligations

  1. You may not reverse-engineer, modify, automate (cheat), or use the Service unlawfully.
  2. You must comply with applicable laws and these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property

All rights to the app and its content (word data, images, design, etc.) belong to the developer. You may use the Service solely for personal study purposes.

5. In-App Purchases

  1. The Remove Ads purchase is a permanent, non-consumable product.
  2. Refunds are subject to the policies of the App Store or Google Play.
  3. To restore a purchase after reinstall, you must be signed in to the same store account used for the original purchase.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service incorporates third-party services (AdMob, RevenueCat). We make no warranties regarding their availability or content.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for damages arising from service interruptions, errors, data loss, security incidents, or third-party services, except in cases of our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Service Changes and Termination

We may modify or discontinue all or part of the Service with prior notice when operationally necessary.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall be resolved in the Seoul Central District Court as the court of exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes will be announced in-app or on the app store page.
